Visit of Unrestricted areas
The Sprinkler System machine room
As I never had a tenancy handover, and had to find how to go from the parking to the flat myself. The door I first openned was this door to the sprinkler system room.
I don't believe I should have access to this room. I could easily turn a valve or cut a wire and start a fire put the building's safety at risk. Knowing from communications with MCR Homes there are fire safety issues in the building, you can't feel safe living there.
As we will see later, others also don't have access to the bin local. I can only assume others also have access to this room.
Access to Other Buildings
The door to access each of the building of The Old Works requires you use your fob. However, the doors don't automatically close.
A cheap door closer could fix this, but as for the Williams Lodge access door not locked issue, it seems MCR Homes doesn't really care about who access the buildings.
Access to Williams Lodge showcases the same issue of the "secure access door" not closing automatically.
Restricted access to the Bin Local
I requested to have access to the bin local multiple times, and ignored each time without an explaination ( typical for MCR Homes ). From the bins left on the floor outside the local, I assume I am not the only one that doesn't have access to the local.
But as access is not restricted, and doors left open, you still often have access to the local. However, it's not ideal for fire safety: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riUqYotywCQ
